  11. Welp, my #mapping attempt at a "Total Value Per Acre" map of #BloomingtonIN failed, but the mess looks pretty.

I believe outside of the core city blocks, too many parcels got joined during a "dissolve" phase, resulting in these mega areas of the same color which shouldn't be there.

It's an interesting analysis to run when considering annexation to check if the proposed additions would contribute more or less on average than existing city blocks.

  16. I need to sell my two Magnum e-bikes.

Magnum isn't listed at bicyclebluebook.com though - is there some comparable brand I could use to set a price? They're about five years old, in great shape.

  21. Bloomington, Indiana has been seasonally closing a popular restaurant and shopping street to car traffic.

People love the space. The biggest complaint about the recent "Taste of Bloomington" event was that too many people showed up. Check it out!

  30. In an email to staff announcing his sudden departure after thousands of university web pages had been down for weeks due to a security incident that the university will "likely never explain publicly", Indiana University's Vice President of IT Rob Lowden declared his department a "national — and indeed international — model of innovation, dedication, and excellence in higher education IT.”
