  3. Programming language: AmiBlitz 3.11.1

Sven 'honitos' Dröge has released version 3.11.1 of "AmiBlitz", the successor to BlitzBasic. In addition to numerous bug fixes, the ability to specify the mouse port has been added, allowing usage of two mouse pointers. A programming example illustrates this; further examples that have been added relate to MUI.

  7. Yesterday, more than 20 years after the last version 2.20, I released a completely revised version 3.0 of my amazingly popular tool “ADF-Blitzer”.

You can find it on Aminet: m68k.aminet.net/package/disk/m

  9. @tylerhall @baldur I can relate to that -- and I never was paid for web dev!

I just didn't want to follow the development and changes anymore. The pre-2010's, it was fun to play around with e.g. Rails and stuff, and PHP, and web standards. IIRC, an early Node developer was also part of our little #BlitzBasic game developer scene, but his enthusiasm never made sense to me 😶
