  8. It is of great concern that Vision Australia, the main blindness organization here in Australia, is ceasing services in Western Australia and closing their Ringwood office in Victoria. One wonders why they are taking such actions; is it a financial problem, or perhaps a lack of staff? Also of concern is the lack of transparency; as far as I can see, clients have not been consulted on these matters.

    From a neuroleadership perspective, such actions without open communication can be detrimental. Transparency and inclusion are essential for maintaining trust and engagement within a community. Neglecting to involve clients in significant decisions undermines their sense of belonging and can negatively impact their well-being.
