    I wonder if they'd let us use bumpers in the bowling tournament later. You know, because lil kobolds and such.

    The less polite version of the BLFC dealer's den announcements for y'all

    1. Get a ticket on the BLFC reg website. If you don't have a ticket, don't waste space or time by lining up.
    2. Get in line no more than 30 minutes before your ticketed time. Don't make the overcrowding worse.
    3. Have your QR code from your email before you go downstairs. Don't count on Wi-Fi down here. Everyone knows it sucks.
    4. Have your badge and QR code ready before you get to the door. That'll keep things moving. If you're holding up the line, people will judge you like they'd judge a grandmother writing a check for McDonald's.
    5. If you know you're done in the den for now, leave. Yes, there are hangout spaces in the den. But on day one, let's avoid overcrowding the room.

    If you don't know what this contest is: "Founded in 1982 at San Jose State University in California, the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest challenges entrants to compose opening sentences to the worst of all possible novels." The novels do not actually exist.
