I don't see a lot of blend artists around anymore (think 2000-2012 ish) and it's a shame.
Not sure if it's just me being melancholic for the times past, but I absolutely love the creativity of not only fanart blends and collages. So many techniques and styles can be used!
I tend to still make fanart blends, and I'd love to follow artists who do as well!

Going to 2017, we have another star making role of Waki's, Maika from #BlendS. A girl from a traditional family who struggles with her scary looking face, Maika eventually finds her place as a themed cafe where she plays the resident sadist... perhaps a bit too well. Waki is a voice actress who can't be easily pinned into one type and Maika in contrast to Galko shows this; while Maika is still a sweet schoolgirl type, her rougher edges give Waki more room to play in.
