This time my nebulae have become slightly better, but not as beautiful as @gleb

I could get a better result, but the render was only 128 samples. Maybe if I set it to 1024 it would look amazing. But then rendering each frame would take a very long time.

Is the "Quickstart" https://docs.blender.org/api/current/info_quickstart.html and "API Overview" https://docs.blender.org/api/current/info_overview.html short of expectations?

There's the videotutorial "An Introduction to Scripting" at #BlenderNation https://www.blendernation.com/2020/01/19/an-introduction-to-scripting/ and I'm sure the web has many more.

Historically, the API has changed wildly between major releases, so there isn't a vast accumulation of scripts out there to rely on. But Blender 3.+ has been out for quite a long time now. Unfortunately Blender 4 will change the scripting API again, AFAIK.

Wow, it's amazing the amount of traffic that #pomelo has generated in the last few days since it was announced on #blendernation . Thank you for all the interest. 🙂

One issue that has repeatedly come up is the #svg support. Note that #pomelo currently does not support general svg, but only supports a single svg path. There is not really any technical reason for that and I plan to fix it. Meanwhile, do object-to-path and stroke-to-path before saving the svg graphics.
