I have woken up with a stonking good idea for a B7 fanfic.
Avon is in a position to save the world (including himself; if he takes no action, he will never have existed). While he's not suicidal, the idea of never having existed at all does have a certain appeal. So it takes Vila to persuade him to do the right thing.

I recently learned that the British actress Jacqueline Pearce, famous for playing the bad guy so deliciously on the 1980's Sci-Fi show Blake's 7, spent most of her last years working at a vervet monkey rehab and sanctuary in South Africa. While monkeys aren't really my main photographic interest, and all my interactions with vervets have convinced me they're sorta nasty little things, I have such high respect for the good work she was doing for them. Every animal needs somebody to champion them.

Clearing more study bumph/piles saw an impressive pile collapse! But that prompted me to clear more books to go to charity soon, also refinding more academic print journals with my papers in them. And finding Blake's 7 photographs dedicated to me ("To Viv") by cast including many no longer with us. Jacqueline Pearce, Paul Darrow, Stephen Greif, Michael Keating & Glynis Barber. I had totally forgotten that I got these. Ordered at the time of a convention I couldn't attend myself. #Blakes7 #Fandom
