And he will NOT scrap the current #FirstPastThePost #FPTP before the next general election #GE2029. So #ReformUK could win a huge overall majority on 30% of votes.

That makes a vote for #Burnham pointiess. He's a #Blairite who won't even introduce fair votes. 😡

Act 1 was a failed return attempt by #AndyBurnham, a reheated #Blairite and twice-failed leadership candidate who quit, to be an okay mayor. Convinced that he'd finally grasped national politics, his return was blocked 'cos the next mayor would be #ReformUK.

Act 2 is open manoeuvres by #AngelaRayner, the loyal deputy to 5½ years of #Starmer / #McSweeney rightwingery.

If the #LabourParty has a future, it's not with these muppets.

They, the #ukgovernment are going to have to proscribe ‘tax the rich’ and ban the eating of apple crumble and custard.

Anyone found with anything remotely resembling nourishment will be thrown in the tower as a suffragette.

It really worrying that so called democratic governments have suddenly gone right wing #extreme. It isn’t just Farage in the UK, the labour party, that we voted in after 13 or so years of tory misrule, is back to #blairite right wing thatcherism again.

#Authoritarianism here, where #starmer is trying to outdo the nasty things #farage is suggesting.

Those compromised over the years have been given some kind of message from Putin? Seems like.

So now you know. The #blairite #starmerite ghouls never wanted a broad church or consensus based decision-making. They just pretended to want those things in bad faith so that they could seize control of the party and wield it as a weapon.

These people understand one thing well: that the political apparatus of the #uk is profoundly resistant to democracy and is a domain for the pure exercise of power.

Not sure how much clearer they can make the message...

But apart from that, there's no solution. Saying 'we should create an online resource' is all very well, but that's not the same as doing it, getting people to use it, and stopping #SocialMedia sites #ShadowBanning it.
