We take an enormous amount of time to make these, hand tooling the head, collar, and pommel. For this one, we black oxided the steel, then we grinded off and polished the facets and other areas where you see bare steel, leaving the black oxide finish in the recesses.

I finished up the Sheep Shear knife tonight. I left a patina on the blade to honour the heritage of the source material, and made a handle from layers of Ringed Gidgee (dark wood), Kwilla (medium wood) and Eucalyptus (light wood).

While not perfect, I'm fairly happy with the result as a knife for me.
