Oggi il postino ha portato un regalo: il cartaceo della prima espansione per #bladeRunnerRPG
L'espansione rimuove quello che secondo me è il limite più grosso delle regole base: l'obbligo di interpretare un Blade Runner.
Ora mi sparo le nuove regole e vedo di capire come infilarle nella campagna solo che sto portando avanti (dove interpreto un blade runner simpatizzante per i ribelli, quindi c'è margine di manovra credo).

L'avventura si sta complicando piu' del previsto, quindi ho deciso di tenerne traccia su un piccolo blog personale.
Il tutto e' sicuramente pieno di plot hole, ne sento l'odore lontano un chilometro, ma chissenefrega. Mi ci sto divertendo e tanto mi basta.

Alterno domande si/no che si risolvono con un D10 ad domande open ended, che si risolvono con una cypher table. In pratica rollando D6 + D12 si ottengono due parole relative a "method" e "focus", che vanno interpretate tipo oroscopo per definire una risposta. Molto molto divertente.
La trama comincia a prendere forma.

A great #ttrpg weekend, with my second session (ever) of #CallOfCthulhu, and my first of both #BladeRunnerRPG and #Daggerheart. Really appreciated all three, for very different reasons.

The module and setting for Blade Runner is top notch, and I’d like to explore both Cthulhu and Daggerheart more, especially as the latter develops through open beta.

Sowohl im #BladeRunnerRPG als auch dem #AlienRPG geht es eigentlich um die Boxen. Die GRWs existieren halt, weil man das macht. Hatte aber nicht das Gefühl, dass die alleine gut spielbar wären. Auch im "alten" Coriolis ging es zuletzt hauptsächlich um die Kampagne, die das Setting komplett umgeschrieben hat. Und tatsächlich bezieht sich auch jetzt kein #Stretchgoal auf das GRW.
Das sind meine Gedankengänge dazu. Ich überlege auf jeden Fall erstmal noch. 2/2

I’m glad I finally got to play #BladeRunnerRPG. I love the setting, and I think it has the potential to far exceed the bounds of its filmic (and literary) forebears. I think it’s a shame it took so long to see a licensed RPG, though: the first movie (in particular) is such a pervasive influence that it struggles a little to stand on its own merits. OTOH, that also means that there’s plenty of (off-label) third-party source material out there already.

Wir haben das Abenteuer aus dem #BladerunnerRPG Starter Set auf angemessen blutige und tragische Weise abgeschlossen - unsere Doxie wurde bei einem fehlgeschlagenen Verhandlungsversuch erschossen, aber wir haben den Fall gelöst.
Das funktionierte in all seiner kompromisslosen Tödlichkeit und Düsternis sehr gut, aber ich bin nicht so sicher, ob ich dauerhaft nicht lieber Rollenspiele mit solchen Sachen wie "Hoffnung" betreiben will 😅

Was reading the #BladeRunnerRPG this morning - backed it but then was turned off the idea that you had to play a cop.

You do (like an anti #CY_BORG) but it isn't a game about investigations and retiring replicants as much as moral dilemmas, exploring what it means to be human, similar angst. The cop thing is a framework for that. You have two "xp" tracks, Promotion and Humanity, which can frequently contradict. It's really for an RP audience, but you do also get a cool gun.

Eigentlich hatte ich vor, mir das #BladeRunnerRPG von #FreeLeague zu holen. Bin nicht immer mit ihren Produkten zufrieden, aber die Neugier ist einfach zu groß.
Doch jetzt habe ich die #Rezension auf teilzeithelden.de gelesen, die meine Befürchtungen zu bestätigen scheint: Wie das #AlienRPG wird auch dieses um die Boxen herum aufgebaut sein und das #Grundregelwerk eigentlich nur ein Regalstück, weil es kaum Möglichkeit bietet, eigene Sachen zu erstellen. Gibt es bereits Erfahrungen damit?

17. A #TTRPG I’d like to play in 2023. I’m already in a #RiversOfLondon game I didn’t expect, so there’s that. Next year, I’d like to play games I own, but haven’t even looked at: the new ed of #ReignRPG would be nice, or #NeverComingHome, or #Soth; #BladeRunnerRPG would be cool, too. I’ve not played #13thAge, nor #SwordsOfTheSerpentine, #Pendragon, or #Aquelarre at all in 2022. And I suppose it’s never too late to hope that #TheForestHymnAndPicnic might *finally* come out in some form. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #gtkm
