#Blacktail #deer grazing on lawn. Seen on the way to work.

Some of my plans yesterday to Thursday have changed. Due to a wildfire burning in Sooke that's still not contained. Our friends took in 2 families evacuated from the nearby campsite. We have another evacuated family camping out in our backyard til Thursday. All are safe but traumatized & needing to organize to go home. I'm clearing out my unused shed for them to set up a private bathroom space for next 2 days.

- Did some example mapping to help [The8Loop](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/The8Loop/) with his local mapping project in #Texas.
- Add naturals and landuse in #Montana.
- Add the #Blacktail skiing area to the [WikiProject Piste Maps](https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Piste_Maps), also in Montana. Noticed that lots of skiing areas already exist though aren't added to the project page yet.

Began playing #Blacktail. Enjoying it so far. Something odd I noticed though. Was looking for game tips on YT. Most of the titles for review vids were along the lines of: Blacktail is ACTUALLY good.

Did people expect it to be bad? If so, why?

I'm only a little ways past the... initial relevant landmark, so please don't reply with spoilers.

I think a lot of you know how much I love Baba Yaga. She's central to my Sasha Witchblood anthologies and features heavily in Witchblood, the roleplaying game set in that world.

Anyway, I am super excited that the video game #Blacktail which features teenage Baba Yaga as its protagonist, comes out tomorrow!
