I wonder if there’s a fund dedicated to restoring Black historical cemeteries and monuments after incidents like this. It feels like such an obvious, crass effort to attack Black history. I don’t want to see anyone ever succeed at erasing more of our precious history when countless ancestors have been buried and paved over or lost to the Middle Passage
