I like the saucy, #tattoo #blackletter styling of these logos of “the Gardenista” on a van in #ColeValley #SanFrancisco.

🎸🤘 Hexcess began as a sketch for a sci-fi heavy metal band logo. It’s an experiment using hexagons and the novel forms built from them to construct a high-contrast, condensed blackletter on a grid. In the grand tradition of heavy metal logos, readability wasn’t a high priority but fun certainly was. Use it for posters, album covers, book titles, zines, and legal fine print. 🥴
