Got the contempt paperwork filed last week for the ongoing parental kidnapping situation and received an emergency court date for next week.

Look at this, a Black teenager got stopped by cops only TWICE in 10days and that actually makes national news.
But call the cops on a black dad... well you can do that three times a week for months and people don't care.

Next up, I'm still dealing with SIGNIFICANT financial hardship from the now resolved false abuse claims I had to go to court about last year.
This has turned into a "high conflict" child custody process in family court. I have 50/50, which will remain so long as I have adequate legal representation.

It's wild to me that this here fediverse has donated more to my actual abuser than to me. They literally put hands on me, in front of cops they call on me for no reason and keep playing the victim and y'all donate more to their legal bill than to mine.

So when you see me posting my legal fundraisers on here, this really is just what I have to do to ensure that I get sufficient time and attention from judges so they can make a half way decent call.
It's sucks that upset people can use the system to fleece you but its a bigger issues that this system is designed to make families poor.

Which is of course why sane parents never end up in family court in the first place.
In WA state, parents can simply share custody without any court order. There isn't really a requirement to go to court unless the parties can't trust one another.
I felt I could trust my ex to be a 50/50 parent and never expected basic parenting rights to ever be in question at all.

It's extremely dishonest and harmful for my ex to continue posting the THREE times proven false claim that they are victim of DV caused by yours truly.
Their ONLY claim of DV dealt with how finances were split ffs specifically during my car crash.
