Got the contempt paperwork filed last week for the ongoing parental kidnapping situation and received an emergency court date for next week.
This is the uptenth time I've had to try and hold the other party accountable to basic court orders.

Which is of course why sane parents never end up in family court in the first place.
In WA state, parents can simply share custody without any court order. There isn't really a requirement to go to court unless the parties can't trust one another.
I felt I could trust my ex to be a 50/50 parent and never expected basic parenting rights to ever be in question at all.
