Repeating my post-comment on the original Reuters article (a fine piece of reporting): Informative, outrageous; & the Israeli govt apparently knew nothing about it: “Before scrubbing its online presence following enquiries from Reuters, BlackCore described itself as "an elite influence, cyber, and technology company built for the modern era of information warfare." It said it provided governments and political campaigns with "cutting-edge strategies, advanced tools, and robust security to shape narratives."

A joint Haaretz-Libération investigation exposed a foreign influence operation targeting France's La France Insoumise, using fake avatars and AI-generated nude images to smear candidates in Marseille and Toulouse. The operation ran through an entity called "Blackcore" whose digital infrastructure shared a London server with Israeli companies Galacticos and SNI (including a system labeled "Galacticos AI Avatar Generator.") Within two hours of being contacted, both #Blackcore's and Galacticos' infrastructure was taken down.
