OMG! We're watching Tom Cruise's The Mummy since my wife recently watched a YouTube video on a list of franchise-killingly #BadMovies. I didn't think it could be that bad.
It is.
So bad.
Not even 'fun time watching a bad movie' bad.
Unaware racists bad.
Just bad.
Badly ripping off gags from American Werewolf in London bad.
Worse than #Morbius bad.
#AfterEarth bad.
#BlackAdam bad.
So very "don't let a libertarian/scientologist make a movie without a studio reigning them in" bad.

#BlackAdam is not a good movie. But... it is a faily decent comic book movie.
The best decision the writers did was to not include any sort of romance into the flick.
Religion, color of the skin, sexuality or sexual identity are completely irrelevant when The Rock is confronted by a color-swapped Wonder Woman 84 and James Bond-turned-magician.
And despite that the movie is basically a two-hour brawl, it finds the time to build Black Adam's character and give him an actual development, a hero journey of sorts! That is no longer common in a comic book movie about a nigh-omnipotent being!
To balance that off, they gave zero characterization to the JSA which is an abyssmal shame. Just compare the Atom smasher to Captain Atom from Legends of Tomorrow. One of them can grow and shrink, fly, spy and be a wholesome boy scout and the other just gets bigger and is not very bright :(
Writers - if you cannot juggle that many characters, use less characters.

It's a bit odd but here's how it goes:
The #DCEU includes all #DC films made so far except for the #SnyderCut of the #JusticeLeague movie, AFAIK. The #SnyderVerse official includes #ManOfSteel, #BatmanVsSuperman, and the #SnyderCut of the #JusticeLeague, although I think the first #WonderWoman movie fits in there too. Where the #DCEU and #SnyderVerse diverge is with #JusticeLeague; in the #DCEU, the canon version of #JusticeLeague is the theatrical release, while in the #SnyderVerse, the canon version is the #SnyderCut.
AFAIK the later movies like #Shazam are far enough removed that they technically don't contradict the #SnyderVerse, but they're not technically within #ZachSnyder's vision for the storylines either.
At this point, the #SnyderVerse really is nothing more than a trilogy, with a suspected sequel trilogy with an integration into either the upcoming #Shazam movie, the upcoming #BlackAdam movie, or (most likely) the #TheFlash movie, which I expect will officially end the #SnyderVerse universe by causing it to collapse. But there were plans for two more #JusticeLeague films, although those are in limbo.
Now #Netflix has a deal with #ZachSnyder to make his own stuff, so that's cool; he'll most likely have better luck there since he's always been at odds with #WarnerBros executives and the #MSM, most likely due to his affinity for #AynRand's philosophy and inclusion of her philosophies in his works of art. Still, I'm a bit miffed because I don't plan on watching anymore content that's locked into a controlled ecosystem like #Netflix...his movies there will probably not come out on #DVD or anything
