Here is my little physical watermark logo fella I made, photo stealing is a big thing for artists so I thought it was a good idea to hardcode my logo into every image :p It's printed and also painted on hard plastic.

Merry Christmas from my little glamorous dollie, I spent the last couple of days fixing up her little background studio and redoing her faceup (also have a logo thing I made, not pictured, for sale photos) - these are just quick phone pics but I will use my better camera for the item photos.
This is the first time she has been seen with eyes, hair and clothes online, though that's actually been done for a few months. 💗

The video crops out his legs so I thought I'd post this too, I haven't done hands/feet/lower legs yet and the inside of the head and the body need to be hollowed out to become a doll, but he *looks* quite finished already after 3 days.

Making different hand poses ✨️
(I will do another three I think, and two different face expressions, and I decided to make the hands and feet magnetic+faceplates to make it easy to change poses) -
*spends a week making a thousand tiny adjustments to this set of hands*
Also peep the joints, I am winging it but I think this will work if I drill holes in the base of the joints.

I moved back to phone sculpting for the hands & feet since it's a bit more relaxed, if I think about working on hands and feet too much it makes me feel kinda sqeamish. I'm using this set of hands I sculpted awhile ago and will mirror it. So far so Uncomfortably Like My Own Hands

Once I nearly finished sculpting this figurine I realised turning this into a BJD should be quite simple.
This way of sculpting seems to work better for me vs making each piece at a time as I was doing before, much easier to make a cohesive figure all at once.

Sculpting practice continues, hopefully this will help me produce a BJD to the quality I want to! I've definitely learned a lot over the last two days using all the tools, creating a complex figure from only one piece of (digital) clay.

Sculpted just with the touchscreen on Sculpt+ in about 17 minutes, the start of a face. I changed the settings so the menu doesn't keep popping up for a smoother timelapse.

Doll on the left has the eyes sculpted earlier with some painted irises, on the right was just a surface paint on the sculpt but I'll repeat the same process with that one tomorrow.
