The more I look into attempting my own Doll/BJD faceups, the less I think I know about colours, and the more I realise that human faces - as an art concept - are just ~amazingly complex~ and the *tiniest details* can make a HUGE difference 🤔😑
A year ago I thought hands were too complex to wrap my brain around....
(Hands have been downgraded from ~impossible~ to just ~hard~ )

Endlich hat auch diese Doll etwas zum anziehen. Mit 80cm eine der größten in meiner Sammlung und entsprechend schwer ist es Kleidung zu finden, die nicht irgendwo zu kurz ist. Die meisten Dolls sind iwo zwischen 60-70cm.
Das Gesicht ist noch blank, ich warte auf besseres Wetter, damit ich mit dem Spray zur Versiegelung einer Bemalung draußen arbeiten kann. -

1/3 scale, it took me about five days because I was following a YouTube tutorial and .. the tutorial wasn't paced very well or even mostly in focus :C

my daughters went into storage when my grandmother passed away, before COVID, before TDK, before giving up my career, before the United States, losing my father-in-law & the horrors of the Pacific North West. before crash landing here in my new home. the other girls are still stored away but Cossette has finally joined me in new Efrafa. it was far more emotional than I was expecting but now she's standing & tidy and I'm so happy I could levitate. 🖤🥀💕
