Once or twice a year, I go hunting on Youtube hoping for one thing: that someone has uploaded a VH1 commercial from the late '90s or early '00s, wherein Biz Markie sings a small portion of "Just the Way You Are" complete with the ascending "do do do duh" instrumental bit that follows each chorus.
Today was that day, and I regret to inform you that it is still missing -- and with it, a piece of my heart.

That first time I ever downloaded a mp3 was 1994 and it was Biz Markie "Just A Friend". My dad was kind of a tech geek back then and was like, you can download all this music now in a smaller file format. "Just A Friend" was the first file that came across the newsgroup I was looking at.
Fun fact: I met Biz Markie in 2002 when he came in to the Blockbuster Video I worked at in Laurel, Maryland.
Had a couple #HipHop #Drinkware arrive today. Got a stemless glass featuring Biggie Manatee rocking the Jesus Piece that says Barleywine is Life, and got a Biz Markie rocks glass.
