At the event I was at today the sweetest little baby bi (probably a fully grown adult but so young to mine ancient eyes) came up to me 'cause she noticed my bi flag badge.
Even though this is my first year out.
When you've a few decades under your belt people will just assume you know what you're doing.
Told her about Bi Visibility Month / Week / Day. News to jer. She said she was going to celebrate with her mum ❤️

Bi+Progress-Flagge
Im September 2023 haben Frank Thies und Bettina Solzbacher stolz die bi+inklusive Progress-Pride-Flagge präsentiert.

Die Regenbogen-Flagge wurde 1979 von Gilbert Baker ins Leben gerufen (ursprünglich noch mit zwei weiteren Farbtönen).
Die Philadelphia-Flagge ergänzt die bekannte Regenbogenflagge 2017 mit schwarzen und braunen Streifen, um auf Mehrfachdiskriminierung von BIPoC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) aufmerksam zu machen.
Die Progress-Flagge der nichtbinären Person Daniel Quasar inkludiert 2018 trans* Personen und soll auch an Aidsopfer gedenken.
Die Intersex Inclusive Pride Flag von 2021 stammt von Valentino Vecchietti in Zusammenarbeit mit Intersex Equality Rights UK.Was fehlt mal wieder? Die Sichtbarkeit der Bi+Community. Das ist leider symptomatisch: Man nennt das Phänomen “bisexual erasure”, dass Bisexualität unsichtbar gemacht, geleugnet, nicht benannt wird.
Dabei machen Menschen, die sich von mehr als einem Geschlecht romantisch und/oder sexuell angezogen fühlen können, den größten Anteil in der LSBTIQA+Community aus.
Sichtbarkeit - sowohl in der queeren Community als auch in der Mehrheitsgesellschaft ist für Bi+sexuelle wichtig. Dies versucht die Bi+Pride seit 2021 zu erreichen. Nun sind die Bi+sexuellen auch in der queeren Progress-Flagge angekommen – natürlich weiterhin zusammen mit den anderen Untergruppen, denn die Community soll zusammenhalten.Die Druckdaten der bi+inklusiven Flagge unter bipride.de/biprogress dürfen im positiven Sinne verwendet werden – auch für kommerzielle Zwecke. Nicht verwendet werden dürfen sie von queerfeindlichen.
Die Bi+Pride wurde 2023 unterstützt von BiPlus Hamburg e. V., @bine_netzwerk, @lsvd Gleichstellungsbehörde (HH), Echte Vielfalt (SH), IWWIT (Aidshilfe) und Hamburg Pride.
