My Favourite Cake (کیک محبوب م) is an intriguing Iranian film, co-written and directed by Maryam Moghaddam and Behtash Sanaeeha. It’s a film for older generations, made by people from a younger generation.

Every weekend I look back at the preceding week in Kpop and pick out a music video or performance that I have particularly liked. This week I have chosen Baby DONT Cry -- Bittersweet.

I'm enjoying a lot of the Kpop being promoted at the moment, but this week "Bittersweet" with its agreeably memorable chorus has given me the most pleasure.

I was going to post the performance video, but I saw this Inkigayo stage this morning and preferred the outfits.

Quite often I prefer performance videos and stages to MVs, as these allow me not only to enjoy the choreo but also to decouple song and dance from specific narratives In which I have no wish to immerse myself.
