One of our favourite books from the decade has to be '#GrowingForBroke' (2016) by the late #PeterNorth. It described how the obsession with #GDPGrowth was not only wrecking havok on #Australia's #environment and globally but also set to destroy our #economy.

Bitcoin is bad for the #environment, but they neglect to say the full truth.

Its bad for *their* environment.

Bitcoin de-monetises #war, people will need to actually #believe in a war to go do it, and they will need to #sacrifice a great proportion of their #wealth in #taxes to do it. The pay will not get close to covering the #cost.
