  1. The Paedos in the GOP are so fucking afraid of Queer people, it would be funny if they weren't trying to erase us all from existence.
    Take it from this child of Section 28, the Queer kids you don't kill off with suicide and murder will never forgive your society again for what you are doing now.

    I hate this country for what it did to be as a Queer child and you can take that fucking flag and shove up your Fascist asshole.

  3. Bisexual awareness week is wrapping up and I have a tiny rant.

    In the course of this week I have seen some discussion about bi people in het or het appearing relationships. I've seen people debating whether a bi person in a relationship with a straight person amounts to a queer relationship or not.

    Labels are for your use. You can use a label to define yourself in whichever way you wish. If you as an individual bi person in a relationship with someone of the opposite gender want to say that's a straight relationship, that's your business.

    DO NOT speak for others. My relationship is not something you know anything about. You don't get to apply your labels to me. I am not here to be an example you can use to score points in a debate about what labels mean.

    If you want to go identify with the straits, that's your business. I certainly don't want to stand over there. I know I'm not welcome.

  5. Its #BisexualAwarenessWeek and while the B has always been prominent the sad truth is that bisexuals have often been meet with scepticism. We need to stop invalidating each other & make sure everyone feels included in the #rainbow. #LGBTQIA #Pride

  6. For some (especially those who watched Citation Needed) this may be nothing new, but for Today's Lucky 10000, I would like to bring people's attention to Julie d'Aubigny, a (by modern terms) bisexual opera singer and swordfighter from 17th century France.

    en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julie_

    She was an excellent swordfighter, a skilled singer, had relations with both men and women, and at one point staged a heist-like plot to free a lover from a convent while burning the place down.

  8. 15 #trailblazing, #out and #proud #male #celebs who you might not know are #bisexual

    This #BisexualAwarenessWeek, which runs from 16-23 September, we’re taking a look at some of the more overlooked people who put the “B” in “#LGBTQ+” – bisexual men. Famous ones, to be precise.

  10. Hey, it's #BisexualAwarenessWeek! 🥰

    While browsing the bisexual tag here on Fedi the other day, I realised once again, that we need to continue to educate people, even in the queer community: Because unfortunately, bi erasure and bi+ antagonism are very real, still.

    This year I'd like to hear about your favourite piece of media that portrays bisexual characters, be it games, shows, comics - any of them! Hit me! Let our voices be heard for #BiWeek. :heart_bi:

  12. "Why do so many bisexuals end up with opposite-sex partners?"

    The subtext seems to be: "Aren't they just straight but trying to seem cool?", and I'm 😒 AF at that subtext... which is why I'm going to *take it seriously* and really analyze it. 🧵 1/x

  14. For #BisexualVisibilityDay, I want to be as visible as possible.

    If you think I "don't look like a #bisexual", ask yourself what you think one does look like? And why you think that?

    Break down stereotypes. *This* is what a bisexual looks like — at least, what this particular one looks like.

  16. It's #BisexualAwarenessWeek, so please be aware:

    * Bisexuals don't have to be "50-50". (Imagine a guy who's 80-20. Sure, 4 out of 5 people he likes are femme, but 1 in 5 is masc! You wouldn't call that "straight", would you?)
    * Bisexuals are still #bi even if we're in a monogamous relationship.
    * And we're still #bisexual if we're alone. Straight people don't become "non-straight" when they're single!
    * #Bisexuality isn't a phase.

    Fight #BiErasure and #BiInvisibility. See us. Acknowledge us.

  20. It's #BisexualAwarenessWeek and has been since Sept 16, and I'm just hearing about it now! I've missed several days of spreading awareness.

    There should be a Bisexual Awareness Week Awareness Week the week before Bisexual Awareness Week, to make sure I don't miss it.

  21. RT @Chip_Unicorn “Happy Bisexual Awareness Week!

    What's your favorite show / novel / series / comic / whatever about bisexuals?”

    The first one that jumps to my mind is Legend of Korra. I’ve heard She-Ra and the Princesses of Power referred to as such but I don’t think the text supports it. Adora is lesbian AF and Catra is an adorasexual. #BisexualAwarenessWeek

  22. CW: Selfie, EC

    Going out last night, when right at midnight I suddenly became rather self-aware when I spotted an opportunity I couldn't miss: #bisexual lighting!
