The first #studio in #CulverCity was #TriangleStudios, opening in 1915 before shutting down in 1919. Founded by brothers Harry and #RoyAitken after the release of #BirthofaNation, the goal was to build off the careers of #DWGriffith, #ThomasInce and #MackSennett. This is one of the few buildings remaining.

As popcorn films, they're not bad. The politics - fucking hell, there's a huge NOPE about once every ten minutes.
But, hey, nowhere near as bad as #BirthOfANation or #BreakfastAtTiffanys and they're lauded works.
