Most people are heteroromantic, which means they are romantically attracted to people of the other binary gender.

A homoromantic is someone who is romantically attracted to people of the same gender.

A biromantic is someone who is romantically attracted to men and women.

(But just like when someone identifies as bisexual, don’t assume a biromantic is ruling out dating nonbinary people, because they probably aren’t).

I was born in 1981. I vividly remember as a child hearing the cishet adults around me repeating in whispers to each other the myth that bisexual men were the primary AIDS vector for cishet women as if it were a fact.

I don't think that it's a coincidence that trans people are disproportionately likely to be bi/pan compared to cis people. Bi/pan people and trans people are both groups within the queer community that dyadic allosexual monosexual people consider to be inconvenient. Biphobia often kills two birds with one stone.

Dyadic allosexual monosexual people, queer and cishet alike, love to pretend or assume the biggest problem bi/pan people face is worrying their queer identity is "not valid", while every credible study reveals that bi/pan people suffer significantly worse material conditions across the board than monosexual people, queer or cishet.

I keep, like, seriously forgetting that #bisexuality is an option. I'll be with a guy and then be like "Oh wow, I loved that, maybe I'm straight now." Then I'll get with another trans girl and be like "Oh wow, I loved that, maybe I'm a lesbian after all." Just back and forth between those two thoughts with zero self-awareness.
