We've fed Chickadees on some cold days + they've become very bold: approaching us very keenly to beg for more food. For #AutumnEquinox a short video of me gathering foliage on the farm, then showing the finished #altar for the season, honouring primordial #BirdGoddess + #GreatMother #Māra + #Ragana the Wild One + the Twin Gods + remembering my Mom and Aunt (The Penguin was carved by my brother for my Mom's collection; the Owl was my Aunt's, and they double as Bird Goddess avatars!)

I was privileged over a week or so to see this beautiful #owl ! It's not uncommon for me to see owl pellets or signs of them hunting on the snow (wing marks etc) but I don't often (not even every year) see the actual birds! This one I saw 3 times over a week or so, all the decent shots +vid from one of those times.

I was heading back out into the bush to get my last load of firewood for the day, a few days back, just around sunset on a gloomy day. This little #ForestSpirit crossed my path, and I took a few minutes to follow it as it flew from tree to tree. I never got much of a view, and no good photos, but it was still fun to see. Second bowl (small bowls, nowhere near full!) gave me an eagle's head becoming an albatross.... lot's of bird imagery, definitely seems like #BirdGoddess is speaking to me.. but what is she saying? 🤔 😁 #pagan #mystic or just #delusional 🤣 There is beauty and magic everywhere!

1) As I prepared some cereal for #breakfast dessert (i.e. 2nd course 1st was vegetable soup with bagel 1/2 with cheese 1/2 with butter) I poured some water in a bowl, mixed in a spoonful of brown sugar then a splash of cream. this is where the #magic started: the mixing liquids swirled and eddied morphing through various shapes. A graceful swan stretched and twisted, finally ending as a gargoyle's grin. #DailyBeauty #MagicIsReal #food #BirdGoddess #imagination

Watched a few documentaries on YouTube lately about Marija Gimbutas, 20th century folklorist, archaeologist and beyond. Her special interest was the culture of #OldEurope prior to the Indo-European conquest/transformation, in particular the #GoddessCulture some of her work has been vindicated (Kurgan hypothesis) details of the goddess worship harder to prove/disprove, but still very interesting and aspirational for many. So, the #swans and #geese I saw the other day are signs of #BirdGoddess

Another serious concern was for all the other little people- he was a very keen/ very effective hunter!
After he left (see posts from couple of days ago) it seemed like #GreatMother #Mara #EarthGoddess #BirdGoddess (all synonyms/facets of the same #nature principle) was sending me messages: remember all the other lives and : life is still here. more-replies-

Here's another #BirdGoddess drawing, I didn't include in my recent boost of my drawings.. also not new-- from around 2007, my favourite BG.. I lost scans of a bunch of other stuff during one of several computer meltdowns last year..lol need to re-scan or photograph.. I'll check my other external drive see if I have any of the more recent (not very recent..)
