Good morning.
A dirty grey start, breezy and damp looking. Still cold too. Maybe holding off on the shorts season a little longer then.
The fat block feeder is missing off the feeder station this morning... ah, it's on the adjacent path, opened and empty. New block in it yesterday too, so something has had that away when I wasn't watching.
I did see a crow perched on the station yesterday, so maybe it came back after its scouting mission and worked out how to knock it off on to the floor where it could get at it? Quite likely, they're clever buggers.

It appears to me that the most obvious "feeding up" going on at our feeders involves the Jackdaws, they live in tree to our left and I'm certain they see me go out and fill up 🤣 anyway, they are currently collaborating at the suet feeder -

I keep forgetting that I've got a big bag of niger seed, but no feeder to put it in, so…
Any recommendations for a niger seed feeder that won't spill its contents at the slightest breeze or when the fat pigeon tries to land on it? Bonus points for being easily cleaned and an integral tray that catches anything that falls out.
UK suppliers hugely preferred, alternatives considered if the shipping isn't outrageous.
