The males are so dramatic. They're super loud. Every year, they sing loudly for mates. Peacocks are polygamous & have multiple mates.It's Spring & the peacocks are singing their mating songs, shaking their tushes, doing their full feathers out fan dances - to attract some peahens to nest with. It's fight season for competing peacocks too.
Peafowl (the blue ones) are native to India. They have huge cultural significance there. The peafowl is India's national bird.

Upgraded the #Birdbutt Masto instance to latest 4.5.10 release!
(and took care of OS updates too). (oh and installed the HWE kernel. How'd I not know/hear about that before? Or maybe I did and just forgot about dealing with it lol.)Took care of the proxmox installs too. (upgrades)

Welp I couldn't wait any more so I got it done early. #BirdButt upgraded to 4.5.0!
Went fine for the most part!
Only one little undocumented hangup but following the suggestion/comment it spat out actually did fix it and not make things worse.(ruby-build: definition not found: 3.4.7)
(to fix it: git -C ~/.rbenv/plugins/ruby-build pull) (and then re-running the previous failed line) -

Sorry for any blips in service. It was released when I was out on vacation and just got back home and taking care of this asap before I wait too long and let it fester.. lol.

Friendly reminder from the MastoAdmin for #BirdButt:
I *cannot* be assed to be snooping around folk’s private shit.
Nor anything else in the DB, that I shouldn't be seeing, (or even should be seeing). I do everything officially/manually through Masto's official admin dashboard. It's pain but I manage.No idea about LargerFurryInstances™ but I would presume/hope the same as well.
Wish there was some term for that or way to tell that being done but 🤷 got my word anyway.
