Well, my photo isn't nearly as pretty or clear as Barry's, but here's the female northern flicker who was foraging in my back yard this morning. 😊❤️

I had to do a Google search of my photo to find out what kind of bird this is. I don't know that I've ever seen one before, although they are apparently fairly common in residential areas of #Oklahoma. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell if she is a red-shafted or yellow-shafted.

I went to Christmas lunch at the other parents’ house (my son’s partner’s parents). It was a lot. Although I did meet another person who had a #Conure, we showed each other photos of our #birbs. I came home and gave Pete cuddles. #BirbsOfMastodon
