Hard to believe that we managed to live here 7 years without one, and dutifully taking all bottles, jars and cans to the nearest container, even without a car.

Oo nga. Kakaloka. It's all so complicated, I had... analysis paralysis. 🤷♀️! It's the reason why in between my contracts (in a previous life), whenever I was back in the country vacationing, I did not attempt to do paid #work.I didn't wanna mess with legal stuff, inadvertently make a mess, then be held liable.
That life is over. Now I'm no longer exempt, I got registered to work independently, i.e. no employer.
It's crazy, but #COVID actually helped simplify #BIR registration. 👍

Ah yes. That annual fee. So glad that's gone. 👍Same here. My client never cares for receipts. I write them out anyway. It's the law, after all. 🤪
Next thing that I hope they fix is the confusing need to specify every year that I'm opting for the 8%. So silly. 🤷♀️
