The US has stopped funding the Ukrainian Science and Technology Center (USTEC), which was involved in research into weapons of mass destruction.
The decision was formalized in a memorandum signed by US President Donald Trump. The document provides for the termination of US participation in the funding of 35 organizations outside the UN system, as well as 31 UN structures whose activities, according to the White House, contradict US national interests.
The Ukrainian STC is also on the list. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the center was involved in biological weapons research in Ukraine and distributed Pentagon grants among relevant organizations.

The report's authors explicitly say they have low confidence in that conclusion. It might be useful to suggest further research, but we'd be crazy to act on it.
In no way does this new information justify the evidence-free #racist conspiracy theories about a Chinese #bioweapon that Republicans gleefully spread.

Shi Zhengli’s team experimented with SARS-CoV spike protein (S protein) using live SARS virus and HIV (AIDS) pseudovirus. In the experiment, they also changed several key amino acids test its binding to the S protein and constructed the HIV pseudovirus HIV / BJ01-S with the SARS virus BJ01-S protein.
This shows that Shi Zhengli’s team has realized the special relationship between S protein and ACE2 receptor.

Virus was created by taking a bat virus and inserting an HIV RNA string so it could affect humans. When inserting RNA snippets carrier snipits are used to do this. These snippet code has been found in the virus proving man made.
I am not a conspiracy theorist. I am not saying the virus is a #BioWeapon or #GermWarfare. However, if it is a bioweapon it was not created in a China lab. Why would China create a virus that mostly kills themselves?
There are other possibilities, the virus could have been created as a #vaccination for SARS which went terribly wrong.
However, the real danger is what happens if China ends up believing the CIA did it to them? Governments are not above paranoia and conspiracy!
