    Two important marine nitrite oxidizing bacteria are now publicly available (Nitrococcus mobilis 231 (DSM 119297)); Nitrospira ecomares 2.1  (DSM 119299)). Researchers can order them from DSMZ to study ocean nitrification and the nitrogen cycle.
