  1. A Half-Built Garden by Ruthanna Emrys

So many things I loved about this book. It’s the first time I’ve seen bioregioning used in fiction.

Add the Dandelion Network and aliens who'll only take you seriously if you are accompanied by your pre-school children, and you have a recipe for something a bit different.

The story is on the slow and gentle side, so steer clear if you prefer your science fiction with murder and mayhem. Everyone else: Enjoy!
