  2. Happy to announce that Clear Read now supports Bionic Reading! This is something I’ve wanted to have in Clear Read for a long time

Improve your reading speed on any website

    Get the update today apps.apple.com/au/app/clear-re

    #clearread #bionicreading

    Boosts are really appreciated 🚀

  3. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I have fallen in love with Fast_Sans and Fast_Serif on my #Kindle. It works like #BionicReading but is #opensource and available on #Github! Your books need to be converted or already in the KFX format (#Calibre has a plugin but you have to play with #Wine due to a dependency) to utilize custom fonts, but they have helped me crush a few books way faster than I ever have (un-diagnosed ADD here). Check out the fonts here:

  4. Fuck #BionicReading and their patent trolls. Small creators are using scientific knowledge to create useful little tools and these pricks are sending copyright infringement letters based on nothing but bullshit.

  5. And it begins...

(Very much not final, will be tweaking how the formatting works, along with giving the user options to customize it for their own needs, feedback is appreciated!!)

if you all are interested in this, boosting/replying would be amazing! (or even just favoriting) I want to make this but i dont know if anybody else would want it

  7. Bionic Reading is a new way of reading text that uses a patented algorithm to highlight the most important parts of words, making it easier and faster to read. The method was developed by a German software developer named Renato Cukar, who was inspired by the way the human eye reads text.

Bionic Reading works by highlighting the most important parts of words, which helps the eye to follow the text more smoothly and efficiently. This makes it easier to read longer passages of text, and can also help to improve comprehension.

Bionic Reading is available as a free Chrome extension, as well as a mobile app for iOS and Android. It can also be used on websites and in PDFs.

  9. Reading is so much quicker and somehow, easier, with this bionic-reading.com/

Does anyone know if I can get hold of the font, or does Bionic Reading not work that way?

  10. Now that the EU has mandated USB-C (thank god, took them long enough) I have another thing I think they should focus on.

It is an #accessibility sin that there’s devices that don’t allow you to change the system font. I know #iOS doesn’t, and it’s still not a stock #Android feature afaik.

As someone with #ADHD and #Dyslexia, I would LOVE to use either a dyslexic font or #BionicReading font, but my choices are to buy my devices solely based off of being able to change font, or get fucked, ig

  11. Heard about Bionic Reading some days ago. It works great for me, especially when I have to read long reads.
There is an app for that and currently free: apps.apple.com/app/id164465803
