Archangelica is absolutely unsuitable for aquaponics. A single plant took over all of the nutrients, leaving other plants basically starving, overgrown and clogged the 110mm pipe all the way up, with like a 30cm root plug.
We were afraid to take it out, worried if the rest of the weakling plants would take over the water purification, but today the pipe completely clogged and no wiggling was helping anymore. We had to tear it out and proceed to remove the roots. It was... Massive. And heavy.
Hoping the rest of the plants will keep the water pure for the fishes.
