My mobile APRS Digipeter doesn’t look suspicious at all… once up and running it pulls 0.11 Amps. With that 4.5Amp battery it should last 36 hours at 90% efficiency give or take. Here's a look at something that I created in 2021 when I had energy to burn on pandemic projects - setting up an #Icom #ID5100, a #RaspberryPi, and a #BioEnno battery in a #HarborFreight ammo can.
I designed and 3D printed a frame assembly that houses the radio body, a Pi Zero W, a watt meter, BioEnno battery, antenna, charging cables, headset, handheld mic, and all the associated shovels, rakes, and implements of destruction.
This year I'd like to do something similar for my #Yaesu #FT891
