In #Binningen near #Basel, the canton and light-rail operator #BLT are doubling a single track section. Houses are dismantled, the whole road is being widened and rebuilt. This includes the former light-rail track.
Instead of closing the line, they built a temporary diversion track on one of the former road lanes, so trains can still operate! 💪
