Was at the kitchen window just now and one of the local jackrabbits came into view, hopping through the snow.
He then proceeded to do a very nice "binky". First time I've seen one of them do that. I think he or she was happy it's a nice, sunny day for the first time in a few days.

Photo 1 was completed July 2021 a week before The Boy was born. They named the bear #Rupert and it went everywhere with him. He still has it here.
Photo 2 was completed today, ready for the birth of my granddaughter. They have named this bear #Ruth.
I’m a bit disappointed with myself for conforming to gender colour norms, I’ll be honest. But also, all newborn babies look like grumpy old men don’t they, so at least the pink may counter that slightly!

New #binky thoughts.
1. This could have been a 5-parter. We're only seeing 10% of the work involved. Esp. around the custom solder/printer.
2. The lads are much better than they give themselves credit. Nick's manual soldering is top notch.
3. The custom PCB is pure madness, there's loads of OTS boards they could have used.
4. Ditto, servos.I'm guessing they're doing this to prove the point that even in the absence of old boards (or replacing Lucas components) DIY or maker fixes are viable.

My partner spotted a tiny #jackrabbit kit (which is actually a #hare...) peeking out of a shrub in our back yard and called me to come see. To our delight, s/he came right out and sniffed around, looking to see if it was #safe to jump down over a 20cm edge (nope! too big!). And then s/he turned around and proceeded to #binky all around the shrub.
Gave me a well-needed #smile today. Unfortunately, it was over too fast to catch on camera.
