Next day after the festival AAA jumped the battery but said if I turned the car off it wouldn't start again. Couldn't find a parts store with the right battery so struck camp, loaded up, and drove back that night, leaving the car running while taking turns going to get fast food for dinner. It wasn't fast, another delayed meal. At home I left the car in the service center lot to be fixed after the weekend. Meanwhile the path to the lighthouse where Bouwerie Boys Morris Dancers were planning to stay reportedly was inundated and impassible.
We had fun!

One of our four developed back and hip pain and bailed. I drove 3.5 hours to a brewpub where our dinner was delayed because the waitress lost our ticket. Then to our campsite to pitch my tent via headlight light, in rocky bare dirt tent stakes wouldn't go into. Then the car threw an error saying the battery had died. I called to arrange a ride in the morning. In the night I realized I'd brought ingredients and utensils and a burner for hot breakfasts but had forgotten the propane.
