Anyone else totally enchanted by Netflix’s many Asian drama series? I confess to being somewhat addicted, both to the period dramas and the modern rom-coms. I do enjoy series that center around food & food prep, and there are plenty of those - Korean and Japanese. The epic Chinese dramas are some of the best shows on the platform imo. So well made, often perfect in every way. I’ve tired of Hollywood offerings, so formulaic and predictable. And though I enjoy some #Bollywood films, the format was created for South Asian audiences and sometimes does not fit my sensibilities. I’ve tried #Nollywood movies, and I admire the Nigerian film industry, but it is not yet as mature as it could be imo. Lots of talent there, however, so it is only a matter of time. Wilderness is wild (no pun intended). I expected a basic thriller, it’s giving serious Gone Girl energy but by episode 2, it had me hooked with twists I didn't see coming. Is it worth your weekend binge? Oh yeah.

Currently enjoying a series on Disney+ called "Death and other details" (or as @Moosical calls it, "Murder on a boat and things"). We're on episode six of ten, and I'd be surprised if we don't finish it today.

So if you're looking for a loooong binge, we just finished #Elementary (take off on #SherlockHolmes, in modern day #NYC) on #Hulu, all seven seasons!

Not only was it great mystery writing, but the character arc of the friendship between Sherlock (#JonnyLeeMiller) and Watson (#LucyLiu) was very strong and at times quite moving.

Now that we're done, we're going to miss them!
