De avonturier maakt het #zelf (met een kartonnen #doos en een ouderwetse 40 watt #lamp kom je al een heel eind) maar ik ben van de luie.

Tried #Biltong Beef Slices! Very tasty alternative to traditional beef jerkey!!! Great flavor and just the right amount of spiciness.

We needed to mix it up today, so I did a quickie on the South African who lost two full suitcases worth of #biltong at an American border.
You probably have to be South African to fully appreciate the pain of that.
But here's a clue: our readers immediately started to debate the exact price of biltong in the comments – because it is very much a Known Value Item in SA.

I've been so disappointed by the biltong offered in UK shops, because it never tastes right (flavours are off, like it's made by someone who heard the concept but had never tasted the real thing.)
Bought some from Up North (South African guys in Scotland) and the biltong tastes like biltong! Also got droewors and snapstix so that was a good choice.

Well I got some things done today. Paid my Son's HUGE school fees, moved my old server out the garage and gave it a good clean with the air compressor. No more dust there.... Finished the last #biltong of the festive season... all in all, a fair day. (oh, and I did some work as well.)
