"Just the Two of Us" is a song written by #BillWithers, William Salter, and #RalphMacDonald, and recorded by #GroverWashingtonJr with Withers on vocals. #ElektraRecords released it on Washington's album #Winelight on October 24, 1980. It also released as a single in February 1981. The single peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the week ending May 2, 1981. Songwriters Withers, Salter.

Quentin Tarantino – „Jackie Brown“ (1997)
Mit „Jackie Brown“ lieferte Quentin Tarantino 1997 einen Film ab, der in seiner Filmografie inzwischen wirkt wie ein zurückgehaltenes, geheimes Juwel. Nach dem riesigen Erfolg von „Pulp Fiction“ (1994) entschied er sich bewusst dafür, keinen weiteren selbstgeschriebenen Pulp-Thriller zu drehen, sondern Elmore Leonards Roman „Rum Punch“ zu adaptieren. Das Ergebnis ist ein faszinierendes, fast elegisches Stück Kino, das tief in die amerikanische Popkultur der 1970er eintaucht – und zugleich ein persönliches Statement ist. (ARTE)
