I bet federation was broken but they fixed it, most of the posts from #Minds that popped into my feed were published on September 23rd 2023. I’ve seen that before with other #Fediverse instances.

The only thing even vaguely decentralized (AFAICT) about Minds.com is the Ethereum-based crypto-payments bit. Yet their PR constantly claims it's decentralized, for example this quote from CEO and founder Bill Ottman:

#Minds CEO #BillOttman says he's been invited to the White House "social media summit". I web search that and find numerous corporate news articles that read like #DataFarm corporation press releases, alleging it's a far-right conservative circle jerk. Yes, Minds does have some rabid right-wingers using its platform (as does the fediverse), but it's also been a home for radical left outlets like #ActOut who have been marginalized by the #DataFarms. What to make of this?
