70 years ago today, Elvis Presley played the first of a three night stand at Kessler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi to much hysteria and rave reviews. This song was in the set.

70 years ago, Elvis Presley was preparing for a 12 night stand at the Eagle’s Nest in Memphis. Ads for the show stated “See and Hear Elvis Sing ‘That’s All Right Mama’ and ‘Blue Moon of Kentucky’.
