In this case yesterday, I was in Athlone, which is home to a TUS campus (fka Athlone IT).
There, I had to use a private bike share scheme, and a company I'm not fond of but which appears to have the monopoly on this location.

Ooooooh.. I managed to find a single, solitary bike share at the train station - who knew!? Most of the journey to the venue was greenway, too, so happy days! 🚲🌳

Offering couch to 50km, summer cycling & an annual Peatlands Tour (16/05), they meet at the old fire station in Daingean.
