#BikeToWorkDay here in #Boston. A little more puddles than I might have liked, but all told not a bad time. Despite trying her best to anger the bicycle cohort, you can even see Mayor Wu on this ride, in a purple rain coat.

Like many other set bicycle events for me, this #WinterBikeToWorkDay fell on a day I was unable to bicycle. I bicycle a lot, it's my main transportation and enjoyment. But I usually can't finish a #coffeneuring event, do #30DaysOfBiking or even manage #BikeToSchoolDay or #BikeToWorkDay because they fall on days I have family obligations or motor vehicle travel time with the Spouse.

#BikeNite A1, redux: Just realized you were specifically referring to Bike To Work Day. Same thing, though. A few years ago the City of #Waterloo Cycling Committee (part of the City's Active Transportion Department) had a "Stop For A Banana As You Bike To Work" stand at the public square. Less planning than a guided ride, but still got people to come out who might not have otherwise.
