@Werschweinchen inspired me to make a wrapup post myself.

I'm really content with how 2025 went down: First and foremost I'm father of a healthy child now and experienced lots of exciting new things this year. Coming to the sporty side 2025 was a more active year for me than 2024 and as a result I lost about 10 kilograms.

Let's look at some stats:

- I ran 588 km (cumulative elevation gain 5500 m) in 66 hours and 7 minutes (in Germany and Austria).
- I cycled 567 km (cumulative elevation gain 8600 m) on my gravel bike in 29 hours and 21 minutes (all in Germany).
- I hiked 462 km (cumulative elevation gain 13700 m) in 105 hours and 29 minutes (in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy).
- I had 529 rides in public transit accumulating to more than 13000 km in roughly 228 hours (in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy).

I'm hyped about all the adventures, challenges and wonders waiting in 2026.

Heute auf #Biketour mit dem #DAV im #Schwarzwald hat es auf dem vorletzten #Trail Peng, Peng gemacht (vom Geräusch fast wie ein #Durchschlag vorn und hinten) und danach psssss. Da hat mir etwas doch tatsächlich vorn und hinten den #Reifen durchstochen 😱
Hinten hat die #Dichtmilch das Loch wieder abgedichtet. Vorn musste ich zum ersten Mal, seit ich #Tubeless fahre, eine #Maxalami durch's Loch schieben, obwohl man das Loch ohne den Milchaustritt von außen nicht mal erkennen konnte 🤷
Dann habe ich beim Abschrauben der #Pumpe noch den #Ventilkern mir raus geschraubt und habe noch den #Ventilkernschlüssel gebraucht.
Endlich hat sich das ganze #Notfallequippment, das ich seit Jahren immer rum fahre, mal gelohnt. 😀

Ihr wisst ja.... #Mountainbiker machen den Wald kaputt und müssen deshalb aus dem Wald verbannt werden.

Um diesem absurden #Vorurteil, #Bashing und #Blaming gerecht zu werden, habe ich mir auf meiner #Biketour heute durch's #Krebsbachtal bei #Eigeltingen besonders viel Mühe gegeben, nicht nur den Weg, sondern auch das Bachbett ohne Rücksicht auf Flora, Fauna und Ökosystem zu zerstören - siehe Fotos.

Die fehlenden Bäume gehen natürlich auch auf meine Kappe... die habe ich mit dem Kettenblatt umgesägt.
