Such a beautiful day. Despite our doubts last eve (after hours of garden labor), we had a wonderful ride in to Monterey today for Bluegrass Sunday at First Presbyterian Church.

A special joy was meeting @NoRomBasic and his spouse, who came for Bike Chat (https://bikemonterey.org/bike-to-bluegrass.html) in the Jay Bartow Memorial Garden (https://bikemonterey.org/rest-stop-tip-jay-bartow-memorial-garden-monterey.html).

For #pentecost Sunday we have a #kamloops city-wide church service at Riverside park this morning.

Parking will be tight so this is how we roll.

That gave us plenty of room on return-home trip for a surprise gift at FPC of potted daisies from our friend Ellen Tucker (of https://sfba.social/@bikemonterey/114906989111518244).

Happy Sunday! Grateful we got some rain. Today’s wind and welcome rain clouds meant we decided not to bike in to town for church this morning (our home church is FPC Monterey—type CHURCH in our website search window if curious about FPC; it’ll be 1st hit).

We did listen online—including to Travis Norvell of Minneapolis, the Pedaling Pastor. We discovered him pre-2022, when we were still on the bird site. To our knowledge, he's not on Mastodon, but Pedaling Pastor is on Bluesky.
