Someone in Big Mouth is a really big fan of recumbant bicycles. Too bad I'm pretty sure they never actually use one. But multiple posters on the walls are neat.

Finally saw The Iron Giant yesterday. The main character kid rides a bicycle – and the main character giant eats cars!

Also: Today I learned you can build and use bicycles in 7 Days to Die (v positive) (-45%), and use bikes in The Sims 4 with the Discover University DLC (mixed) (-60%).

Had a look at a handfull games about building a house on a street or a whole street.
None had any sign of bicycle lanes! Some showed a bike or two parked, but none in motion.
You know what most had? Cars, or at the least roads that look very car centric!
I even looked at 2 games focused entirely on transportation: All kinds; trains, planes, even horse and carriage, oh my! But not one bike visible in the promos!

Watching #WWZ cause I heard it's one of the very few (post)apocalyptic films where they actually do the smart thing and use bicycles!
But right before the (first? – haven't watched farther yet) bike scene I learn that a big premise of the film is basically some "there where no jews in the towers on 9/11"/"covid was engineered to not affect jews" shit. Jeez! I really hope this is revealed to be a red herring, cause it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth

Silly and fun 6 episodes, with a very clear male gaze. The full intro is the main character on his bike, and every episode ends with him biking away. He also uses the bike quite a lot during the episodes. 25 yrs old, so is he grown up enough to get full score? Not sure. Mentally he's not grown up, at least. Hehe.
Not great art, but fun, and very bicycle positive :)
Study, study, study!!!
Just finished the French film The kid with a bike.
It nicely showed the freedom a bike can give a kid, for good and ill. Children biking gets a low score from me, but there's one scene where his foster mom joins him on a ride, showing it to be a good way to spend quality time together as a family. Otherwise the grownups drive :/
Watched it over 3 settings, days apart. So, you know, maybe really not my film. Quite slow and serious. And the ending was strange to me. But still...
Let's see if I'm able to consume some culture which portraits bicycles in a positive light, this year. And if I'm able to post about it here.
I've tried threads about films and such before, with mixed results, so no promises.
Rewatching the Deus Ex: HR video from @Hbomberguy, and noticing that there is actually quite a few bicycles in this world!
I'm sure you can't actually ever use them (that would be way too awesome for such a mid game) – but still, just the fact that there are bikes at all is better than most media, it seems to me, and especially most set in such a cyberpunk-ish universe! Good on them!
Does anyone know if you can use them, or if anyone ever rides one in the background?
I was already hooked on a game from Raw Fury, and then this amazing bundle showed up!
Dome Keeper (made with Godot!), Sable, that Muumin game (Snufkin, like my avatar!), and Kingdom Two Crowns, which I've been hooked on before.
Also: Kingdom Eighties, the first game I've played where you mostly use a bicycle! Awesome! You're a kid, so it doesn't give full score on my #BikesInCulture list, but still very nice!

I spent way too much time and energy researching and writing this annotation on Genius!
First I miscalculated the timeline of when Warren would've been in this specific school, so I spent some time looking trough and taking screenshots from the wrong Schwinn catalogue, and had to go back when I realized my mistake. Still, it's always fun looking at old bicycles. And this album was important for me when I was in school, so this was fun

3 body problem.
One of the lesser main characters used a bike in the first episode. No bicycle was used ever again.
In the second(?) episode he was told that he's still a child. So, was his use of a bike ment to be one of the indicators showing him to still be childlike? Not sure, but that would be the typical way bikes are used in culture. But since I'm not sure this isn't the worst, I guess.
Also, I liked the series better than the books.

The first, and I suspect only, mention of a bicycle in the book Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow comes over halfway in, and it's just seen in the distance, in a fever dream. But at least it's being used, so there's that, I guess? Cars have been used a lot by the main characters, and they've also walked a ton.
I started watching #Wayne for some reason. Seen three episodes so far, and in every one there's one single bicycle being used. And it always ends getting trashed.
And now I'm just so curious to see if this trend continues in every episode.

But there's actually some bicycles quite prominently in the background of a scene in the movie, and, incredibly enough, a guy on a bike is getting focus when he says hi to the characters we're following in that scene. I did not see that coming!
That definitely helped it a little bit, and this movie needed all the help it could get! It didn't even end with that inspirational speech thingie, which was really disappointing!
Luca is such a great movie! I mean look at all those bicycles! Even a business delivering goods with a bike! Fantastic stuff!
