Not a bad spot to park a #bike, eh? The actual #bikeRacks aren't bad, they can accommodate pretty much any bike size. The problem is the location of the racks.

People with #bicycles need the #bikeRacks to properly secure their bikes. Scooters and motorcycles don't need bike racks. They can park anywhere. You can let them park on your head, if you like.

☝️🤪I rode Li'l Blue 🔵🚲 to the mall! 🤸♀️ A very short* ride, but a real* #bike commute* -- i.e. not just riding around the block with no destination. 😊
I still shouldn't be riding it on busy streets or great distances. It's old school with no 🔋⚡ assist and I'm just no good with smaller wheels. Wiggly ride. Ergo, not safe. It's just me. The bike is fine, as far as I know.

I did ride Grey ⚫🚲 in the afternoon, trying to find better fenders to replace the crappy ones by ADO. Zilch. I guess I'll have to shop online.🏪🧋
I consoled myself with #coffee jelly frapp. 👇Not the best #bicycle parking. But the area is safe-ish, with a security guy keeping an eye on things.

I did an #UrbanDevelopment #walk today. I'm definitely not an expert, I just like to see how my home town has changed over time; especially its evolution towards a more #sustainable city. There are networks of #BikePaths, many #BikeRacks, #SolarPanels on buildings accounting for the natural environment, lots of public parks, etc.
I never noticed before, the advertisement panels only advertise cultural events: concerts, theater plays, museum exhibitions, etc.

@rudy these look better than the ones in Ottawa in terms of usability, but, no disrespect to the artists, why are #BikeRacks so often forced into double duty as public art in ways that make them *worse as bike racks*? #BankSt, #Ottawa has a bunch like the one pictured here, which are super hard to securely lock my bike to because the rear basket is pushed out by the metal panel. No one would dream of making drivers park their cars on top of a textured metal “parking spot/art piece”. 🤷♀️

When they requested it, it happened fast, and their custom went up up up - you apply in Dublin through Traffic and Environment Dept, Dublin City Council, Wood Quay, Dublin 2
